S4.Ep6: Trusting His Voice - Seeking Him First

Have you ever received some exciting news from the LORD and just want to tell the world? Or maybe He's calling you to make a life-changing decision and you find yourself seeking council from others before you even have a clear picture of what God is telling you?
These things resonate in my spirit. I have been the excited friend who shares everything on her heart and I have been the questioning servant seeking validation from others rather than seeking guidance and council from my Heavenly Father. Today, I challenge us to consider the power of pondering these revelations from the LORD in our heart and first gaining a clear understanding from Him BEFORE we invite anyone else into that sacred space.

S4. Ep. 5 Seeing Beyond the Obstacle: The Power of "What If"

Sometimes all we can see is the obstacle in front of us. But, "what if" we instead saw the obstacle as an opportunity. Instead of being frustrated or discouraged, "what if" we got curious and believed, given enough time, we could figure out a way through it. What we believe about ourselves and our situation can either keep us stuck, or move us forward. Today, we discuss easy and practical ways to change our mindset, so that we show up empowered and confident as we walk in our calling and purpose.

Last week, I found myself in and out of the hospital with my loved ones. I was exhausted both emotionally and physically. Everyone is fine now, but it got me thinking: "How are we going to choose to show up when things happen and life gets hard?" Today, we discuss the importance of understanding our "why" so we will show up and persevere, no matter the obstacle.
